Hello! I am a new member to this community. Anyway, here is my problem:
I am 14 years old and I am seriously into dancing. I dance about 20 hours a week, and my classes range from ballet to hip-hop. In any case, I have the flattest butt in the world! Here is a picture if you don't believe me: http://usera.imagecave.com/beckythestrange/becsbutt.jpg . I read the sticky by howdiekat, and checked out the program, however I have no access to gym equipment. I would like a big, bubble butt but I don't know how to get one. As well, I have read that squats should help, but should I be doing them with my knees turned in out out? Please help! -------------- ~*Becky*~ To dance is to live. |

I think single best exercise for that is deadlifts, along with its variations, romanian deadlifts and stiff legged deadlifts....
although squats are second best I think.....shoulder wide stance, toes slightly pointed out.... you can check how to do these exercises in 'beginning weight lifting' thread...at the top....there's a post with a link to the demonstration of those exercises... | |

unfortunally a J Lo butt is more about genetics than really anything else. No matter how you try to make the butt bigger, the legs will get bigger too......to stay in portion.

you can always google "deadlift" for some other demos.
squats and deadlifts are the key though. It's kind of good that it does boil down to genetics though with the current butt craze the way it is. With all the augmentation/obsession with size out there today in society there's no telling what some girls would "end" up looking like. |

What ever happened to being happy with what you have. Your butt looks fine to me! Squats, DL's and lunges will help develop the muscles. These days it's big butts, big boobs and a 6 pack...what will it be tomorrow?? How about fit and healthy:big_smile:

Your butt doesn't look flat, it looks firm and at least its not sagging!
The wider your stance for squats, the more glute involvement. I felt the starclimber machine really gave me a boost in my butt. And I agree - deadlifts! Lunges shape the area nicely, too. I thought it was the beer belly and spare tire craze for the last 8 years...finally someone told me otherwise. So I'm going for the fit and healthy look now...don't think the big butt and big boobs will go well with my manly build...or hairy chest for that matter. :big_smile:

In my humble opinion. Stiff leg dead lifts work the hamstrings. Minimal on glutes. Although Ive seen women who have changed their bodies by attending step aerobic classes. I would recommend step classes with the highest step not exceeding 90 degrees at the knees. Also you must lung and stairclimb. Take pictures and you will see a difference within a few weeks. You are building muscle so a high protein or amino acid suppliment would be beneficial. When lunging lift the opposing leg on a bench. It minimizes injury. Hard to explain. Happy bubble butt building. Can you tell i love female bubbles? :)

Hey, i'm 16, and i want a big butt too! my butt isnt very flat, but it is flat!! i'm not really athletic and for the new year i wanna have a really nice figure. when i wear certain clothes i dont feel comfortable wearing some of them cuz my butt is so flat, so please can someone send me a website with step by step examples of what to do to gain a big butt?

woah i had no idea having a big butt was so coveted!
im one of them white girls with a black girl booty but you know trust me u dont want it too big...then pants dont fit! lol. i do lunges with weights to help tone though! keeps it shapely! maybe that could help! |
