I just had three egg whites with a whole egg, but instead of frying them the old fashion way, i decided to microwave them... not only did the final result look gross, it also tasted real bad... i had a hard time finishing them... can anyone tell me why they tasted any different? not only that, but was the taste the only difference, or did i 'lose' any of the eggs' nutritious elements by cooking them through radiation?
thanks...

Yo Pimple!
Try cooking them a little slower (lower power setting) and for less time (let them stand for a minute or two afterwards).
Not to worry about the radiation - microwaves cook by using friction of the water molecules "rubbing together".
I use a microwave mug sprayed with a shot of PAM. Another hint: place a spoon in the mug. It helps to heat the center of egg more evenly. (It's okay to put a metal spoon in a microwave. Just don't use a fork or any other utensil that has edges where arcing could occur.)
I like eggs that way. Quick, easy, and clean up is a breeze.
Hope that helps. BTW, my neck aches every time I look at those head spins of yours. Man, that's gotta hurt!

lol.. thanks you very much, dave... i'll try that spoon thing next time. my microwave is kind of old, so the only power setting it has is for a higher setting, so there's no way i can lower it... i don't know, if all else fails, i'll just let the egg cook there for about 10 seconds or so, then i'll stop the microwave for about two more seconds or something... so i'll just keep doing that and see what happens, but hopefully the spoon trick (and letting them sit for a few minutes after they're done) will get the job done...
thanks again, and holla back!
