Being 16 living with parents, i find it pretty hard to really control my diet.
Being of asian background, rice and noodles are a large part of my family's diet which, i understand is necessary in a diet but i'm trying to cut back on carbs(trying to lose weight) especially later in the day. Alot of the food made isn't exactly the healthiest either.
Trying to explain to my mother my ideal diet is pretty hard and even though i try and cook for myself as much as i can, miscommunication between ingredients and stuff happens.. alot.
So i was just wondering how other people deal with it and your suggestions as to how i might be able to have a better grip over my diet.
If you can't avoid the foods then portion control is your only source of relief. You will just have to accomodate less healthy meals with healthier meals, or eating less at other meals.
