How do I update the profile?

I do not get exatly how to get the profile to take effect. I do not have any pictures but I typed some stuff in the profile part and as of right now they didn't take it just went blank. I don't know what I am doing wrong and it's I know it has to be something simple.:big_smile::laugh:
