According to my diet profile I should be getting 189g of protein. I am stuck around 150 or so. I have 2 eggs for breakfast,Tuna for lunch, and some sort of meat at dinner. I know Whey Protein is an option and I created another thread on this forum to get some help choosing the best one. Any other special Protein rich foods I could be missing here:? My diet is low carb and sugar free.

If you add 2 scoops of whey protein to your daily intake, preferably immediately after your workouts, you'll be there. You can always just add to what yo are already eating. Add another eggwhite, another ounce of tuna, another ounce of chicken, and so on.

Personally I LOVE edamame (aka soy beans) I buy mine at Safeway in the frozen veggie section. 10 grams of protein, 2.5 g fat 13 carbs (9 of which are fiber)....They're already shelled so you only have to boil them. Sometimes I put them in my stir fry or alongside broccoli with some soy sauce.....

I can say that you get more protein than I. That is the hardest thing for me. Never been much a meat eater. Especially, when I can not cook for myself.

Also, you could add seafood.

The three scoops of protein put me over everyday. 69 grams, 310 calories, that is the only way I can do it without eating all day.

Protein supplementation is a tremendous help. Real food is still the best source, but not many people have the time to prepare 6 meals a day. Some meal planning will help, but a protein shake can easily add 20-40g of Protein.

My goal is 245g and I've been reaching it lately, but I'm on a mission to change up the tuna.

I have 4 egg whites for breakfast instead of 2 eggs. Less fat and more protein.

I definetly think Whey protein will help me get what I need. I plan on getting the Optimum nutrition Chocolate flavor. Should get me up there. Thanks for the foods everyone!
