I've been eating a lot of chicken breasts lately (don't we all ) Just trying to find new ways and ideas on it. Let me know how you prepare or what you add to your chicken breast. I have some different marinated kinds but am open to new ideas. I like terriyaki, lemon and herb, bbq, honey and garlic. Thanks in advance.

There is not a way out there that I haven't prepared chicken breast. Mostly, when I am at the store I always to the spice section first to see if they have gotten anything in new. We grill it, we boil it, we steam it, we bake it, but my favorite is to boil it in a small amount of water with any spice that falls out of the cabinet, then brown it on my george forman grill.-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! |

I do mine on the Foreman, with lemon and herb spices. It goes nicely with brown rice, broccoli, and carrots.

I just made a really good chicken breast tonight with a recipe that i got out of a fitness magazine. You take 3/4 cup of frozen concentrate orange juice, 1/4 tsp. of dried orange peels, 1/2 tsp. of allspice, 1 tsp. of ginger, 2 tbsp. of water, and 1 tbsp. of virgin olive oil and whisk it all together. Pour it over 4 chicken breasts in an 12x8 pan and bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Mmmmm Yummy, if you like you chicken with a tangy orange taste.

LOL @ RW!
Tara, that packet sounds yummy! I'm going to have to try that. I love the foreman grill we just got! :) I also am a fan of lemon pepper. I have also baked chicken in the oven within a foil packet with salsa. It's also good with paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic, and salt. I also use it to make home made chicken soup. It's also great in chili instead of the beef (no pasta in my chili). -------------- ~Jennifer http://www.gwindalyn.com If you dont stand for something, you will fall for anything. |

Yea, that does it, I have to go get a foreman grill. I used to have one, but the "ex" got the rights to it, so now I don't have one.
