Hey I have seen a product called Nitrovarin PLS and it says Grow your muscles while you sleep. Is that true, just a bunch of crap? And if it works how does it work?

Don't believe the hype; its a bunch of crap. Most of these night-time proteins are just protein and glycerine together. The glycerine helps slow the metabolism of the protein so it lasts longer. Good in theory, but think about it. If there's only about 20g or so of protein per shake, and the shakes are "time released" to last 6-8hrs, what good is 3-4g of protein per hour while you sleep? Eat a grilled chicken breast and wash it down with a glass of skim milk before bed. You'd be getting more protein by having the chicken and milk snack and better results doing that. Meat, egg, and milk proteins (except whey) generally digest at a relatively slow rate, so would that also be "time released" while you sleep, too?

You also need to look at the price. The last time I looked at that stuff it was about $70 for just a small container. I'm sure the price has dropped since then. Chicken breast, eggs, and milk cost A LOT less than that stuff.

wow, I wish it was that easy, I am so sore from working out the last few days. So many junk products out there, why don't people just give it up and face up to the facts, workouts, diet, makes the body good!!!!!!!!!

thx for the help, well I need some protein suplement, because of my time I only eat like 3 or 2 times a day so please tell me what suplement will suply me the protein that I need
