Pre workout (60-80 mins before workout)
- cup of granola
- bannana
- glass of milk
- lots o' water

Right before my workout I drink 2 cups of coffee followed by more H2O

Post workout (within 15 mins)
- grape juice w/creatine and glutamine
- large bowl of instant rice
- protien shake with a bannana and 45g of whey protien + added malto
- WATER

Hour or two later high protien meal

I am training for mass, does this routine look sound? I am especially concerned about meeting my carb needs.

Any imput would be greatly appreciated!

Try getting protein in before your workout as well. Especially if you are going for mass.

Is coffee a necessity to get you going in the morning? I cut out all caffeine from my diet. I know its hard, but something thats worked for me is showering when I wake up and hyperventilating before my workout if I feel lethargic.

I drink the coffee before my workout just to give me that extra energy boost. I do this because sometimes I feel sluggish coming home from school or work (I work out at 5pm). May I ask why you cut all caffeine out of your diet?

Also thanks for the help jdelts.

Caffiene works differently for everybody. If it works for you BEEF, then there should be no reason to stop...unless it causes problems for you.
