How many calories should a person take in per meal? I eat 2300 per day and eat 6 to 7 times per day. Normally 600 cals each for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and have 125 cal snacks 3 to 4 times per day split between my larger meals. I am not looking at losing alot of fat but trying to gain some muscle and not gain fat. My snacks are normally protein like fat free cheese, cottage chees, yogurt, and almonds with the snacks.

Looks pretty good to me. Are you not gaining any weight?, make sure your snacks fit into your p/c/f,and expect to gain some fat if you want to gain some muscle it's just part of the process, as you will lose some muscle as you lose fat.

Im not gaining any weight at all, I have been stuck at 130 lbs forever. I lift 3 days a week and do light cardio 2 days a week. I just bought some free weights I was just using my home gym and have lost some fat but my weight stays the same. I must be gaining some muscle in the process because I do look different but my weight never changes. I was mostly wondering if there was such a thing as eating to much at one meal and how much it would be.

Try adding 250 calories and dropping cardio to once a week. See how that goes and if your still not gaining after a week or 2 try adding another 250 calories. 2300 calories may be your baseline which is a good thing now you have to add some more calories try a 50/30/20 ratio.gl
