I'ld like to get ready to compete, but how much mass is enough? I dont have too much trouble getting cut, but Ive hit a plateau as far as mass. Then there is the potential for losing mass while shredding...I dont want to shrink!
We cannot tell you....... How can we without knowing or seeing a picture of you?!!!! You got different categories..... fitness, figure, bodyfitness, body building etc Get somebody who knows to look at you.
When dieting there is always a risk of loosing some muscles. Keep your protein intake high and don't loose more than 1-2lbs weekly.

THe best way I have found to get over a plateau is to do negatives. That usually puts me over the hump in a week or so. Just make sure you have enough protein in your body and keep working out, or you will sacrifice precious muscle.
