How much can be absorbed by the body in say one hour? My buddy tells me around 25 grams. But 1 serving of the Protein I take is 52g. Am I wasting it or is my buddy a moron?

Depends on the bodies needs. If it needs 1 gr. it will uses 1 gr. If it needs 50, it will use 50.
