as in, i've been reading a few posts and it seems that not everyone is following the nutritional plan exactly. i never eat as many carbs as i "should", but i also am not exercising every day so i figred that was ok. as well, i never eat as many calores as i "should" either. so is this ok? or should i be following the plan to a t?

A steady approach with both diet and exercise will yield the best results. The nutritional guidelines are just that. Many adapt calories to their reality but the macros are pretty well thought out by the programmers. I've also noticed people add to the FT exercise routines after a time.
