I know this will vary from person to person, but my question is, if I get 6g of sugar in my cereal from soy milk and or 4g of sugar in a serving of 1% cottage cheese, will this cause a spike? Will this prevent me from earning it when I want to spike PWO?

I try too keep my sugar limited to those two things and some fruit. To earn it do you have to totally eliminate sugar?

Any type of carb intake will initiate some sort of insulin repsonse sooner or later, except for a few situations, such as pure fructose, which is insulin independent, and carbs consumed immediately after intense exercise, where glucose uptake is also insulin independent.

I do know that when you go in for a glucose monitoring test, they give you a stadardized 75g of glucose...
