It's my first day and I'm unsure how much on average a brand new weight trainer should start with...the plan says no more than I can comfortably lift more than one more time than called for...my gympack has 21lb blocks on it.
That's great advice from RW. Exactly what I did and what I do when startging a new move I have never done before. I don't worry about getting it perfect the first time. If today's weights were too easy then I make a note for the next workout to move them up.
