Im a 16-year old male trying to gain more muscle mass. (Currently on the 8 week mass building plan). I was just wondering how often I should go to the gym and lift, since I know rest is important. I've been working out for years on my soccer team and have gained some strength but never any mass. I think it may be a result of training too much and not giving time for my muscles to grow. Any suggestions?
You can weight train 3 times a week and get great results. Now how many times do you play soccer?
The time of recovery also depends very much on your nutrition. You need to eat well and enough. Good luck!
