HOW TO GAIN MUSCLE MASS

I want to know the best wait tto gain muscle mass for me. I'M 5'9 140 lbs. I'm ok but I want get a little bit of muscle up to 150-155 lbs.Problem: I never gain a pound eating normally but I never lose one too. What is the best way: take protein shakes or carbs and eating a lot?

First thing to do is search this site. The question has been address a number of times and there is a lot of good information posted. Second, if you want to gain weight you need to eat more. If you are not gaining weight, you are not eating enough plain and simple. Check out diet thread for more info. As for an exercise program...we need to know more about your training history. In general, you will want to focus on big compound lifts like deadlift, squat, bench, rows, pullups, dips..ect.
