I've been Going to the Gym on and Off for the last couple years and im ready to Really apply Myself.
I hear there are different ways to approach it depending on if your goal is.
What i want is Really Stronger Dense Muscles. Im not going for Mass or Size, but more of a Smaller SOLID type. Just really Tight Complex Muscles.
Whats the best way to go about this ?

Density will be build through myofibrillated hypertrophy. Use heavy weight, low reps. This is also the way to build strength.
By the way, your request is kinda weird. Care to explain more about yourself?

Im about 5'09 , 160 ..
Heres the the idea. I've seen Guys who Huge ass arms like the size of Thigh that look pretty ripped get bested by smaller guys who are ripped to hell but there muscles dont look anywhere as Big as the other guys.
take bruce Lee ( not that a huge fan of his ) but that guy wasnt very big , and he overpowered people like twice as buff as him.
what im asking is to get the Hardiest Muscles Possible What should i do ... More Weight with less Reps ?

Well your 5'9" @ 160. I outweigh you at about the same height, so I know your build. I hardly think that you are on your way to becoming too big...
I also think your example may be a little misconstrued? All other things equal, a bigger guy will be a stronger guy... The larger guy will also have more weight to manipulate an opponent with... This is why we have weight classes in wrestling, judo, mma, boxing...
Bruce Lee wasn't that much stronger than his opponents. Nor was your jiu jitsue instructor swarm... Technique is what makes a weaker opponent dominate. I am a competitive full contact fighter, and can tell you that technique will usually win out when faced against brute strength.
Also, I'm still confused about what you are asking... You say that you wantt obe strong, and then ask how to get the "hardest muscles possible"? Like I said, density is built through high intensity training... Tightness as I take it is a lack of flexibility... It will cause you injuries in the long run.

What i mean by tighter muscles is. Sometimes people Flex and there muscles are huge but there muscles have a little give to them when you press on them ... others have muscles that feel like Rocks.. Thats what i am refering to.
