Want to build up my forearms so that I can fend off players playing Rugby League.

Have got pretty big forearms towards the elbow, but regulation forearms beyond that. Guess the way is to gradually grow the muscle down. Are there any short cuts.

I do Behind the back wrist curls, kneeling wrist curls, reverse curls, etc. Have changed routines, weights and reps, sets, etc but cannot increase the muscle growth towards my hand.

This is a want for my sport, does anyone know how to help the muscle to "grow" towards the hand

I come from breakdance... and it is of the utmost importance to have super-strong wrists that can handle lots of pressure.

Wrist curls are good fun, but try switching it up by doing the breakdance "turtle":

Huge wrist/balance exercise... when you master this you can actually flex tiny muscles that run along your lower wrist.

Start by using a stool. Push your elbows into your lower abs. Balance on your hands like the guy in the picture.

After you can do the stool, do the floor. After you can do the floor, have a spotter stack weights (like 25lb plates) on your upper back for various intervals. Once you've mastered that, do it one handed, and when you can do that, start using your legs/hands/wrists to "jump" yourself into the air.

good luck. wreak havoc on those wrists.

Hammer curls work the Thumb side of the hand, but I think yout stuck with it,in less you can increase your bone density towards the hand, have you tried heavy grippers, have you tries reverse wrist curls.
