I need to add about 500-700 more calories per day. I would like to do it in snacks in the afternoon and a snack before i go to bed. I used to eat a granola bar twice a day but there is 9 grams of fat and 3 grams of saturated fat for each bar. I didnt think that was to healthy. What are some healthy foods that i can eat to add more calories to my diet.
lewdog the prob with the bars isn't the fat but the sugar. As far as whats good to snack on....there are dozens of posts with various ideas. Have you search thru them? There were many ideas drom making your own bars (search recipes) to protein drinks and also any food you eat at a "meal" also makes a good snack. 1/2 spicy chicken breast can be eaten any time of day! Forget tradition when it comes to the diet.
