I was wondering if it matters how you consume your protein? Forinstance I use Optimum Whey, yesterday I had 4 Protein Shakes 2 scoops in each, total 184 grams of protein then I had about a 100 grams with normal food. Does it matter that I get most of my protein from supplements rather than everyday food? Thanks

Im 6ft 190lbs, I was told to try to keep it about 1-1.8 grams per 1lb. I dont always get most of my protein from supplements, it all depends. I dont have a set diet so somedays I get say 180grams from normal food and 100 from supplements. I just wasn't sure if it mattered. Thanks
