Not too bad. Thanks for asking. I have been much better this year with drinking less alcohol in general (I sip a light beer as I write this, lol), and not going overboard at parties in particular. Fortunately the worst is now over with only New Year's Eve left. Good luck in staying focused.

Well I don't drink so that's easy instead I've been eating too much!!! (bread, candies, dry fruits etc!) Ever since my competition in the start of November I've been thinking "great, nooooooo diet" lol so I've been putting on at least 5 lbs.......... Hmmmmmmmm It's party time now and no way I'm going on a diet right now..... I have to do that in January anyway (got other comps soon!)
Enjoy!!!!!!!

I've been daydreaming about my mom's bread stuffing for a month. I only get it once a year, but it's my very favorite thing. The good news is that mom's modifying the big meal this year a little- adding more veggies and less fats so that I can eat without feeling guilty.

We stuck to our healthy eating by liberally interpreting recipes.
The bread pudding used whole wheat bread, the whipped cream that went with it used reduced fat heavy cream to make the whipped cream.
The ham was lean and cooked on the grill so it wouldn't sit in its own juices.
The casserole was sweet potatoes and only had 1/2 cup of sugar instead of a whole cup and the topping had whole wheat flour (instead of white), brown sugar, pecans and Smart Balance instead of butter. And since this is so good, we didn't have to have a separate dessert.
Glad I threw our scale away a couple of years ago and wishing you all a happy New Year.
