Hello, my name is Mari, I am 32 yrs old and I am a mother of 2. I am extremely overweight. I weight 281 lbs and am working towards losing at least 100lbs but after I reach my will decide if I should go any further. I just started this week. I have changed my diet. I eat approx 1500 cals a day.
I have been exercising everyday this week. 30 min Cardio,
20 min weights, and 30 min in the sauna. Right now I am sooo sore. I am in a lot of pain!! I am hoping that I will feel well enough to go to the gym! I enjoy working out but my body is yet to get used to it. Many years of little or no exercising. Hope to get to know a few of you along the way to the healthy new me.

I don't think you are eating enough, Mari, you need to eat enough or you will throw your body into fighting your weight loss efforts, truly. Please check your calories needed and then use that amount for two weeks or so, if you don't see a loss then, go ahead and subtract 200-250 calories per day, and so on. The more you weigh the more calories you will need, as you lose your caloric needs go down.
