Unfortunatly i have hurt both my knees and now it is unbelievably painful just to stand up let alone do squats, so my question is, how much harder will it be to cut/bulk without being able to do legs?

You can still bulk up and cut without doing legs, you'll just have skinny legs. Not really much else to say :).

can you do leg extensions? leg preses? I've hurt my knees before so many times, I just do somthing to get them stronger, I'll take a week off from the muslce or joint I hurt, then go back and do some light leg preses and squats, 2 or 3 sets tops. Slowly work my way up.

Well my problem is that its both knees, and it wasnt like i got hit funny in the legs while playing football, i just wwent to practice,(we ran quite a bit) and then came home to find that i couldnt walk. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this but the pain in both knees, is in a bone that sticks out right below my knee cap. Im not quite sure if i can do leg extentions but i know that squats and leg presses are out of the question.

5600000,
Have you seen a doctor yet. The way you are talking it sounds like the injury is recent. If so it may be possible that you have a fracture in the tibial plateau or some other damage that can be fixed. See the doctor if you haven't he may be able to help or suggest other alternatives to the exercise dilemna. If this is an old injury and you have already been down this path than I apologize and the best of luck.

Hey man what you have is no problem. Its called Osgood slatter deisese. I don't know if your young or not but you get it when your young like 10-16. I had it but it goes away as you get older. That might help look it up on the net for more info

k i went to the doctor yesterday. She said its not osgood slatter, its a case of one part of my knee being over developed and one part of it being under developed. so i was wondering of anyone here has ever had this problem and if they have then what exercises can help it..
thanks in advance

you focase too much on a certain excercise. Example, you squat with feet close together, and leg press close together. This hits the top, and lower part of quads well, however the outer quad, and ineer quads suffer, this is why i try to do different excercises for my quads, Sumo squats, sumo deadlifts, feet high up on leg press, crab leg presses, lunges, one leged squats.
Also make sur eyour hamstrings are close to strength as the quads, this may cause problems too.
Your only as strong as your weakest muscle.
