Okay, I did a search here to see if this had been brought up before. It has but the thread was dated 2002 so I thought I would throw this out there again for those who may not know it yet.
I am sure we all have times when eating right gets really difficult and we have to use supplements to keep up our daily intake of protein. I had been using Lean Body Protein bars, the Carb Watchers type, for one meal supplement per day. Now I have been reading nutrition content and ingredients on labels since I started to learn to eat right. I found this Hydrolized Gelatin stuff listed among the ingredients and thought to myself, "Now self, that stuff don't sound to kosher". I looked it up and found out I was right.
The stuff is junk pure and simple. There, now that I feel a little better I will just post the link to where I read up on this stuff so you all can see for yourself.
