Yes, you should concentrate on the basic power movements: Squats, Bench Press, Shoulder Press, Deadlifts, Arm Curls. Break your workouts over 3 or 4 days per week. Stretch before and after exercising. Start with light weight, using proper form. Keep a journal and gradually increase your poundages. Do at least 4 sets per exercise, 8-12 reps per set. Make sure you use a full range of motion. Eat good quality food, take your supplements and get plenty of rest.

If you are still that young, then concentrate more on the basic movements..also stretching and cardio workout is important...have yourself checked by a physician regularly.

hi i started lifting when i was 14 when i got my first set of free weights.The only tip i would say is dont push yourself too hard because your bones are still developing and you could alter their shape.Training when i was younger i believe it gave me the building blocks of the toned and muscular body that i have today.Have fun.

I think it would be good to start lifting at a young age. It would be healthy and also you would be in shape for the girls later on
