I am doing the muscle mass workout the is provided on the site. On the info it gave me before you look at your workout calendar, it talks about cardio workout, but it says not to do cardio if your trying to gain more muscle mass. Well I need to also lose weight, just to overall lose the flab. I am just wondering what should I do since it says not to do cardio, but i need to get thinner and stay in shape, since I don't want it to effect the muscle mass process.

If your a beginner, you will drop fat weight and gain muscle mass very eassly. However after several months you will gain muscle as well as some fat. If you concerened about fat, then I suggest you do another workout option. Because gainning muscle mass, and "cutting" is very hard, and near impossible at the same time.

Remember that working out and proper diet should go hand in hand. To put on muscle mass, your calorie intake whoudl excede your required intake - some will turn to fat. To lose weight, you must drop below your required calorie intake, in turn you may lose some muscle.
By weight training, your will increase your muscle mass and your body will burn more calories. Correct me if I'm wrong Andrew, but I think this is what you are getting at.
