The biggest thing on getting healthy food is to make sure you are still getting enough of the unhealthy things. If you cut it all at once, your body will crave it, and you will find yourself miserable. Finding a nescasary substitute is the best way to stop this. If you eat a lot of sweets, eat fruits such as oranges, granny smith apples, strawberries. The biggest thing is it isn't the wrong kind of sugar. Also get some gum for when you are craving in a bad enviorment with no other options. As for the healthy choice of consumption, the general rule is fish and chicken over red meat. If you still need that red meat, get 99 percent fat free(will not cook well on the grill). Also look out for the fraud fat free lables. The sugars that it contains will turn to fat. Another thing is replace all your pops and sodas with water. We have these new flavor waters that is a big hit in my area, it tastes too sweet to me, but it has no sugars. I will see if I can find that name of it, but just so you know there is an alternative. The next biggest thing is to know moderation. You may still feel hungery, but it can take 30 minutes to get that full feeling after eating. Also don't ignore your cravings, they will get you into trouble. Just find healthy substitutes such as the fruits I mentioned or even carrots. A lot of cravings are curbed by carrots I found. Feel free to tell us what you like if you can not think of a proper substitute, and I am certain we can find something for you =-)
