Ok....is this bad to cheat on special occassions?? Today was my daughters 4th bday, and I had a small peice of cake (ok, 2)...I said it was a special occassion, so it was ok. But then, I felt soo bad that I also ate 2 starburst and another half a peice of cake when we got home :(
Oh well...it's just one day....right?? Someone reassure me my last week of working out isn't shot already!! I had my 'official' cheat day on Thursday, but it wasn't soooo bad. I had a McGriddle (yum) for breakfast, Zaxby's chicken strips for lunch and a cheese enchilada with chips and cheese dip for dinner...oh yeah, I threw in 2 sweet teas throughout the day... It's not like I went crazy on chocolate....right?!?!?!?
:)
Anyways...Happy Birthday to my little one :)

Exactly....we can't give up everything, especially special occasions. Recuperate the next day and get back on track. We're not robots here!

Get back on your diet. You will be fine, just try not to do it again. A cheat occasionally if you can handle it is just fine. Think about it, if every calorie we injested went to fat, we would all be pigs! Do try to make your cheats less sugar though(or any white flours, same thing as sugar), of all calories you could intake, this has the most chance of becoming fat due to the insulin response(your storage hormone). Insulin surges throughout the day is absolutely the very worst thing you can do to sabatoge any fat loss effort.

I love mcgriddles but those things are just clogging up your arteries with every bite, But ohhh how good they are.

Depending on which you had here is the info for the sausage mcgriddle

Calories:420
Fat:23 grams
Saturated Fat: 7 grams
Cholestoral: 35
Sodium: 970
Carbohydrates:42
Dietary fiber:1
Protein: 11

Maybe you might want to rethink that :surprised: They are good I dont blame you!

Your cheat day rocks, I cant take a cheat day anymore, I feel like the previous workout was useless and pointless and makes me feel like a slop of you know what....

Hey...it least that McGriddle had protein...LOL! - I thought 1 cheat day was ok tho?? who knows...
As far as worrying about losing pounds..I'm not worried about that...I'm fine at my weight...just want to make it tone..
20 minutes on the treadmill every other day and weights everyday...plus I walk/stand at work 7-10 hrs daily, then run after kids at home...so I'm keepin my cheat day..LOL..I'll steer clear of the McGriddles for the most part tho ;)
