Sorry guys, but i'm not sure if i picked the right place to post this one or not...
I was reading a little on "reflexology" -- how specific places on the foot and/or hand corresponds to different parts of the body. According to the theology of reflexology, pressure is placed on specific places on the foot and/or hand in order to "fix" or "heal" the corresponding body part.
Has anybody heard anything (on either side) about reflexology (the good, the bad, etc.)? Does it work?
I'm having a hard time believing just because, if it really worked, then why wouldn't more people be using it to cure things like headaches or upset stomachs? We could make ourselves "skinny" (by pressing the point that corresponds to the adrenal glands??) or even cure cancer if it worked, couldn't we??
I'm not very convinced, but I have to admit that the theory kind of intrigues me. Even if it doesn't work, it's a pretty creative theory. I guess he/she deserves credit for that, at least...
