I love salsa, and from what I understand it is relatively healthy also. My question is what else can I do to eat it besides with eggs or just plain chips.
I know chips can be bad due to the partially hydrogenated oils and such but Tostitos makes chips with no trans fats now so they aren't as bad as others I believe.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

check out the recipe thumb tac. With salsa comes sodium so make sure your drinking enough water. and i would drop the chips if your serious about acheiving your fitness goals. i don't know much about the tostitos chips but i'm guessing they're full of simple carbs and a good amount of sodium compounded with salsa is not too good.

Salsa Steak, with peppers and onions.
take 1lb of steak cut into strips and stir fry with peppers, onions 2-3 cloves of garlic. I also add one tomato diced. You can add just about any kind of vegeie.
After meat is fully cook add what ever kind of salsa you like, heat till it is warm and serve.
Salsa can be added to just about any meat dish you can come up with.

you can try dipping veggies in salsa (or on a salad to make the tex mex version), or you could make some toast (whole wheat) and cut it up in pieces and dip in the salsa- it should give it that crunch factor you are looking for. I like salsa on my burgers and chicken too!

As far as chips, Trader Joe's has very good soy and flax seed tortilla chips. If you have one of those stores near you, it's definitely worth a try.
