Hey. Can anyone help give me a formula to help bulk up my biceps and get that nice groove in my forearms. My arms are thin compared to the rest of my body and I just want to beef them up a little

Any help would be great

Thanks

If you just concentrate on the biceps you will look unperportioned. Try working your triceps and fore arms also, along with some shoulder exercises. This will give you the look you are working for. Dont forget your lower body also.

There really is no secret formula. Like carivan stated, train the triceps since they are made up of 3 muscles as opposed to 2 in the biceps. And obviously, eat a good clean diet. Unfortunately, this is where genetics can play a dirty little trick, people that have a hard time achieving larger biceps usually have shorter tendon attachments, which means a little less force will be generated as compared to a person with longer tendon attachments. But you can still develop a great pair of arms regardless.

the triceps is 2/3 of your upper arm, for big arms, trin the tris heavy and slow, same with bis

And make sure that you eat, sleep and train heavy with great form.....the #1 reason why people do not gain on the bi's is that they go to heavy to quick and have bad form, that leads to other muscles coming into play. Another thing is to remember that these get other work from back exercisese. Train heavy as you can with deadlifts, chins(these are great for back and bis) and bent rows and you will see a improvment I can almost gaurrentee it.

Also fsucracka is right along with dahayz that the triceps make up 2/3 of your arm if I had trained my tris as much as I did my biceps I would already have the 22 in arms I want.

Thanks people. My triceps are coming along quite nice. I have aready got that nice inverted V sort of shape. I would just like to get that nice deep groove in my forearms and thicken them up a little. I get a nice burn from the seated row and lat pull machines from the gym so maybe I just need time. then only trouble I have with training heavy is that I stretch easy, Im pretty badly marked up already so maybe I need time.
Oh well,
Happy pumping

Thanks a lot for the help folks Your a great bunch
