I'm 17 and I am 135lbs and 6'1. I would like to gain more muscle mass and not be so skinny. The only place I have some fat is in my mid section however I do have abs as you can feel them just there's fat on top. I need some tips on how should I gain muscle and loose the fat in my gut area? I want more arm muscle and abs. I have access to free weights and machines, any help would be great.
You can start with either an ft program or create your own workout and concentrate on working your upper body (i.e. shoulders, biceps and triceps). Then, you need to put on some weight so you need to eat (at least 5-7 meals per day) quality food. Make sure there's a fair amount of protein with each meal.
As far as your abs -- crunches, reverse crunches and side bends should help. You can also sign up for ft's ab blast program!
