they will tell you your suggested amount of calories, how many carbs, fats, and protiens to take in. you have to incorporate it. there are several links to meal ideas and also to the caloric content of several food items on the site. good luck

Not a diet planner here, but everything you need to do it yourself is at your disposal. Go to the specific diet and nutrition forum on the boards and check out a thread called "diet thread", very good read if you want to get serious about health. You can also do a search for just about nything at the bottom of the page. Usually the quickest way to find answers on crtain topics since most have been discussed in great detail already. Good luck and welcome to FT!

Tboo, we're here for you. You can do it, don't throw in the towel. The main thing is to start by learning and finding some exercises that you really like and enjoy doing. It will be difficult at times, but heck, if it were easy then everyone would do it and then the U.S. would not be considered the fattest country in the world. Keep in mind, on the days when you don't want to go workout are the days when you really need to. Force yourself to go, you will feel better for it and you'll find that you will probably even have a better workout in the process. STAY THE COURSE, STAY ON TRACK, DON'T DIGRESS!! I've done some personal training (hobby) in the past. Let me know how I can help (I helped my sister go from a size 16 to an 8 in about 5 months).
