I need to lose 20+ lbs. PLEASE HELP!!

Hi!! I'm new here and need help and any advice that you can provide me with. Right now I have no self-esteem. I was always the smallest female and every woman envied me. I weighed around 113 at 5ft 4. Well, I got on anti-depressants and just started gaining away. I went all the way up to 158. So I got off the anti-depressants and instantly went down to 138. Now, my weight fluctuates from 138-145. But, right now I way more than I did at 9 months pregnant. I feel like a fat disgusting pig. And just want to find a way to lose the weight. I'm with the man of my dreams....but can't see how he could be attracted to a mess like me. He wants to have a baby with me. And I really want a baby. But I couldn't imagine being any fatter. Now, I got on the anti-depressants due to depression and low self-esteem. And now being off of them I feel if I don't lose the weight then I will lose complete desire to live. I hate the way I look and don't even want to be seen in public. And I can't get back on medication since it has ruined me. Any helpful weight loss info would be appreciated. I know nothing about fitness. I was always blessed with a small frame until anti-depressants ruined me. So I don't know where to start.

I also need to add that I'm not an individual whom over indulges. I'am charectorized by family members as eating like a bird. I very rarely get hungry and maybe consume 1 meal a day if I'm lucky. That's why it confuses me that I'm fat. Even my 8 year old says "Mommy, you never eat"....and the joke of the house is that I'm a closet eater. Which I'm not. But, I have been told that the less you eat...the lower you metabolism. What can I do to speed my metabolism up??

You need do look at a few things in your life...smile and be happy that you are wit the man of your dreams and that he loves you and wants to be with you...Working out and starting with small attainable goals will help your self esteem. If you are only eating one meal a day that may be your problem...your body is going into starvation mode and is conserving every calorie it can....you must eat more often...5-6 times a day with small meals (look at it as 3 small meals 3 small snacks if it helps) These must be made up of healthy nourishing foods not full of empty calories....Eating more often (grazing like a ruminant (cow))is what people should be doing to keep their metabolisms going well...

Make a list of little goals and with each one accomplished it will bring you to your ultimate goal...and each little victory brings happiness.
