i need to lose weight fast

is there any advice anyone could give me to lose weight fast? i turn 20 on feb 27th and would like to lose 100lbs in the next year, ive joined 24 hr fitness but dont know what to do and dont wanna pay for a trainer there cuz theyre horrible. can someone help me pls!

Loosing 100 lb in a year is a mighty goal. It can be accomplished with hard work and paying special attention to your diet. There are 52 weeks in a year so it would be your goal to lose about 2 pounds a week. 1 pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. so in order to lose 2 pounds a week you will want to create a calorie deficit of 7000 calories a week. that is 1000 calories a day. Reducing your food intake and spreading your meals out to 5-6 a day is the first step. This will keep your metabolism high. the second step is to partake in a weight traing/HIIT cardio routine to burn calories and boost your metabolism. also avoid sugary foods. they prompt your body to produce high levels of insulin. Insulin triggers fat storage.
