:angry: I want a visibly bigger, rounder butt. Does anyone know any exercises I can do at home to achieve a visibly bigger and rounder butt? I know that you have to be patient to see results, but I would like some exercises that work!:cool: Thank you!

you can only spot build a muscle so much......bad thing abotu the glutes is they work in conjunction with the hamstrings and other leg muscles..the body will stay in portion with other muscle....butt may get bigger but so will your legs.......a big butt is mostly genetics....you can firm it up......nicely....btu as for a jlo butt? Prolly cost you about 10 grand-------------- gravity is not a law, only a obstacle |

Romaninan deadlifts(with knees bent at 20 degrees) and lunges(front leg bends no more than 90degrees) are the 2 that work the glutes the most for me. I try and avoid them as my butt gets too big.

your leg size will increase more than likely along with your firm round glutes, however they will be toned hense without the CHUNK :)

You must squeeze your butt muscles tight at the top of the exercise.

i have done butt exercises for a year and a half......and i think what i've got is what i'm stuck with. it's hard like rock and small. sigh.
don't genetics play some small role in all this? |

Yep, you can only build so much muscle. :) Actually the only way to get a but bigger is more calories, but the problem here is fat does not care where it deposits, and may well go alot of other places before ending up on the glutes. You cannot control the fat just going to your glutes.

I am taking from the post that the poster is female. It is not stated in the profile, but by the post of wanting a big but, I am venturing to guess it is a female.(haven't heard many men wanting a JLo butt). Going heavier on squats is a great idea, you always need to push the envelope to continue progress. In fact, by the profile this may be exactly what is needed to get the poster out of their "stuck" state. However, testosterone is not dominant in females, and it is difficult to build alot of muscle, let alone the glute area.

Well the SN started with 'Lisa' so I assumed it was a woman....sorry for the null post...i get logged out at weird times...
It seems like many women are too scare to do the big exercises...and when they do...they use too light of a weight to do any real good....hardly ever see any woman doing squats much less with anything more than an empty bar....the couple women in my gym that I saw do 100+lb on squats had very shapely glutes/legs... | |

well to add to the post i have what they call a j-lo butt had it for years b4 j-lo thank you, when i was a teen i walked, swam, and bike rode alot. but not much for any other strength or execise at that age though i did play soccer at one time now that i'm older and my j-lo has gotten slightly wider and dimpled abit i need advice to keep the shape and keep it firm but to loose the dimples. any info for me?:big_smile:
