Just one question: if I drink Iced tea all day instead of water, does that count towards my water intake???? It is Lipton Instant 100% tea unsweetened....

I wouldn't advise that. Tea has caffiene in it, and will act as a diuretic, making your body lose the water it needs to hold on to.

Try switching to decaf. Supposedly (I read this) all drinks count towards your water intake, but I count only good ol H2O. And I aim for 150 ozs a day, so I've pretty much replaced everything else with water.

Try drinking propel fitness water (Low carb, good taste), if you dont like the taste of water.
To answer your question, yes it does. Do you want to drink lots of it? Probably not. Gatorade/Powerade would work better for you, if you can stand to have the carb intake.

Why not make iced herbal teas. They have almost no caffeine and come in a whole bunch of flavors.

decaf sounds like a great idea, but do need that caffine in the mornings..don't do coffee... don't want the carbs from any sports drinks..Thanks for your input all :)

Iced herbal teas are awesome! But green tea and black tea both have really excellent health benefits, so don't exclude them entirely. Just be sure you are drinking enough water.
If water bores you, add a slice of lemon or lime, or a slice of lemon and a slice of cucumber - sounds odd, but is refreshing.
Peppermint tea is the bomb when it is hot or cold, and it has thermogenic effects.
Decaf mountain chai (without the cream and sugar) is another really tasty tea hot or cold!
