hello everyone. i am, as you might already know, a novice and i have a really dumb question that i hope ANYONE can help me with. okay here goes... when it says "repetitions," what are you supposed to put? for example, let's say i did 15 push ups, then 15 squats, then 15 push ups, then 15 squats, then 12 push ups, then 12 squats, then 10 push ups, then 10 squats. what do i put for repetitions - the total number of push ups and squats (in this case, 52 pushups and 52 squats) i did, or do i put 4 (for the number of sets i did for each exercise?) i'm lost! please help an idiot. thank you

First off you are not an idiot, and there are no stupid questions, but there are stupid people because they don't ask questions. Now, to answer your question each set contains a number of repetitions (reps). In your case you did a set of 15 pushups and a set of 12 push ups etc. If you were doing wights they would also be refered to as a set of reps. Good luck and remember one thing, we all began one day! Feel free to ask questions.
