im 6 foot tall, about 150 lbs, and i have less than 9% body fat. im not looking to get huge or anything like that, but i would like to have a little muscle and some definition on me.
i also work 14 hours a day, so spending alot fo time in the gym aint really an option. i can spend an hour, maybe and hour and a half in the gym 4 days a week. im already taking %100 whey protien and some gnc weight gainer, what else should i be doing? any suggestions from anybody? thanks.

I think one hour 4 days a week is plenty of time.
Are you currently lifing weights at all?
If not, start!!!
Go here and you can read about weight lifting and choose exercises to build a routine:
http://www.freetrainers.com/FT/jsp/ExerciseResources.jsp
Also, use the search function at the bottom of the page and search on either routine or workout. Read as many of the pertinent threads as you can to help you from making the same mistakes others have.
Also, you have to eat alot of quality food.

Dude, I maybe get 4 hours in the gym in any given week. It's more than enough.
I'd recommend total body training, 3 days a week. It's not too much time, and tbt won't interfer with your work the way DOMS does on a split.
At 6', it'll be easiest to get you looking good by putting a little more muscle on your frame. In the long run, it will help you get more defined.

I have heard that working chest and tricep on the same day leads to size reduction of the arms. Is it true.

At 150lbs your not eating enough... Weight gainer can help but you need more real food. Once you start eating more and since you don't have much time for the gym do as wrestler stated.. 3 days a week should do you just fine..
