15.. 16.. whats the difference.. hehe..

Well are you trying to hit the numbers that the nutrition section gives you?... Other then that i'm guessing your calorie counting and trying to cut back slowly.. that on top of breaking things down to fat/carbs/protien could take a bit of time... I don't remember if it was this board or not but I saw a lot of people on some message board say that carrying around a journal where they wrote down what they ate at each meal or the nutritional info for those foods then they could figure out how their diet needed to be adjusted...

The ft online nutrition tracker tries to help you do this by letting you 'add' meals and then you can see a breakdown of each meal... the breakdown is important since you won't get very far eating say 70% carbs 20% fats and 10% protien... (i think?)... give it a shot.. that or at least give the journal idea a try.. you could write down what you eat for a day or two then post it up on the boards and the members here will help you figure out what foods you need to eat....

As for the back problem thing.. I would think that you could do lots of things that would count as cardio to help you lose weight.. so instead of running maybe one of those fitness cycles where your sitting down?.. I sometimes used a rowing machine at the gym I went to... maybe others will have some more cardio ideas here =/

Hope some of that helped....

Irina, the very best thing you can do is to find a Personal Trainer in your area and make him/her show you all the good exercises for your back WITHOUT any risks for you hurting yourself....

You are only 14 years old, so it's NOW that you need to get rid of those back probs. Good thing is that you have decided to do something with it now.
all the best luck to you!!!

What exactly are your back problems, that may help in what kinda exercise you could do?
