I am learning about the Darkside to one day become a true warrior of the weights, after my recent challenge from Mutt on day number 2 my painis so constant (soreness not injury) anyone reccomend an OTC that will help, for those who have been there?

i found both glutamine and glucosamine helped me get through the initial tendon soreness when i first started getting back into shape. stretching helped a ton too. if i stretch before i run, i usually won't be sore after. if i don't, my legs will kill me for a couple days.

Tylenol helps a lot. I like doing an active recovery which tends to help also.

Man, put the two words "pain is" together can make you read it as another word....for a minute that changed the whole meaning of the post :laugh:

i wouldnt take ibuprophen as it slows down muscle repair...
eat more....stretch pwo....contrast bath/shower.....light workout on the same muscles day or two after....light jogging....can all help...
vitamin C, creatine, glucasonime/chon, ZMA...can help with recovery...
