Okey guys and gals, I just found out that my first competition will NOT be in 4 weeks but only 2!!!!!! SO I'm getting a little bit stressed here!! lolThis first comp is not a big one but I need to do it to be able to participate in a bigger (and a lot more important) one in 5 weeks. By knowing this that late my diet just wacked up..... ): Even thou that I have changed a lot since those pics to the left were taken (less fat and more muscles) then I still need to get down my total body fat % Okey I'll get fingers on some (natural!!) diurectics, do cardio every morning (and I know about the water and carb depletion the week before) but does anybody else have any kind of useful advices?!!!! ---------------------------- - Nina :o) La vie est toujours aussi belle..... |

Good luck Nina! I'm sure you won't need luck however. You have always given me excellent advice so I'm disappointed that I can't help you somehow. I hope you reach the results you are looking for. -------------- "Without the will, there's no way" Stan |

Yes, eat fish and more fish, substitute it for all your whole food proteins. Two weeks prior to competition I live on fish, spinach (drop last 5 days) and small potatoes, and protein drinks. You will lean out quick.-------------- There is no substitute for hard work.........Leslie |

I hate fish..... I mean no I like those small swimmy things just not the taste of them. Too much sodium in egg whites? Would white chicken be okey? Why cut out completely the green veggies before the comp? I must be around 14% body fat right now. The comp in two weeks is not very important but I need to do it to be able to do a lot more important one the 5th of May. Till then I hope I'll be a lot leaner. I got a prob about getting a bikini for the comp in two weeks thou (and I have to wear G-string!!!) You think a black colored one would be okey (and then get a nicer one for next comp)? I was soooo happy this morning measuring my arms and shoulders and noticing that I have increased in size!!!!! (nope I'm not gonna tell you!! :o) Finally after all that work! Thanks for your help. I'll keep you posted. -------------- - Nina :o) La vie est toujours aussi belle..... |

yes egg whites and chicken are ok. Cutting out spinach is due to the sodium. Lots of veggies due to the bulk. You want your tummy flat. Green beans are probably the best vsggie close to competiton. Cut out sodium Wed. that week too. Do you have a competition week diet and water schedule?-------------- There is no substitute for hard work.........Leslie |

Okey one more week to go. Getting sick and tired of my diet (but I have been that for months!!) One thing that scares me a little bit thou is that I'm sooooooooo tired. I stopped doing weight training and now only work my poses and chorography. Do cardio in the mornings and sometimes in the night as well. But I'm tired and my joints hurt. Errrr this is a big bother. I was thinking of stopping completely with any exercise Wednesday to let my body recover a bit before the competition. This is actually just like a trial for me. I mean this comp is really not a big deal but it'll teach me things to prepare myself for the BIG comp in 5 weeks. I'm a little nervous now because it's the very first time but I guess in 5 weeks I'll REALLY freak out...... (: Ah well if I don't try I wont know..... -------------- - Nina :o) La vie est toujours aussi belle..... |

Yes the last week is tough!!! Good idea to stop training Wed.. You should also be increasing your carbs as the week progresses then you won't feel quite as tired. Adding small sweet potatoes once or twice a day. If this makes you nervous try eating a small potato on night see how it effects you the next morn. You need to fill out those muscles and dry out too....gee...thats a science!!!-------------- There is no substitute for hard work.........Leslie |
