I have been working out on machines and I have noticed that my muscles are beginning to grow slightly incongruent. I know certain machines are ok to perform one legged or one armed, but is the leg press machine ok to perform one legged? I would really like to even out my muscles.
Yes just back way off, and control the weight both up and down with slow movements, don't do a weight that you cant get at least 6 reps with. Its actually safer if you do it in a controlled manner, because if you fail and cant get the rep, at least you'll have a fresh leg to bail you out. Good Luck.
