Flies focus on the inner chest. You can also use cable crossovers, pec deck, incline and decline flies work too.

AMke sure your "squeezing" when you do flys, big differance when your just doing the motions and just worrying about the weight. Quality not quanity. Get a good stretch going out for the fly, then "pull" it up through your inner chest, then come up and flex your whole chest area.Do this with out dumbells touching together, keep them1 in or so apart.
* some like to turn the dumbells in( pinkies inside)

Steep incline dumbells and maybe start using the cables to better concentrate while doing your flys. Also, for the reg. flys just at the point when your hands get close rotate the weight tilting your hands in slightly. Than bring the dumbbells in a little more over your upper chest. Squeeze the heck out of your upper chest during the few inches to weights are coming in. Control and focus is the key.

I think its easier to concentrate on inner chest using machines, esp for a bigginer cos u dont need to concentrate too much on balance, rhythm & motion.

Also, close grip bench press develops the inner part
