Hi All,

I just joined the site a few days ago and have been kind of feeling my way around. Everything seems to make sense except... (you knew this was coming, huh?) ;^)

The nutrition program...

I have filled out my nutritional goals, and have been given the following basic guidelines by the program:

Required Daily Protein - 237 g
Required Daily Carbohydrates - 395 g
Required Daily Fats - 88 g
Required Daily Calories - 3160 kcal

In my "Personalized Nutrition Center" there is a link for "Personalized Nutrition Program" which states "this section contains your very own Personalized Nutritional Plan based on the goals you specified."

This link takes me to a "Personalized Nutrition Tracker" program that *tracks* the things I eat (and will analyze them for me), but doesn't seem to really lead to what I expected would be guidelines on specifically what, when, and how much I should be eating. Am I missing something (another link maybe), or does this sound correct?

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I just want to make sure I use all the tools I have available to me. Although I do eat fairly "healthy", I am really a novice at this and don't know which nutritional categories I may be grossly over or under on - other than trial and error by plugging things into the tracker program and seeing what comes out the other end. Bottom line - is there any more nutritional guideance that what I have described above? If so, please point me to it. If not, can you please suggest a good web site where I can find a good nutritional program to use in concert with my FT weight training program?

Anyway, I'm really glad I found this site. From the few days I've spent perusing things, the people seem very friendly, knowledgable, and motivational. That seems to be a great combination! I'm exicted and ready to get started.

Sorry for the lengthy intro...

Thanks,

Jeff

Well you sure did find the right site.Welcome!!!
Seems like you did everything right and are not missing anything. If you really want a good nutrition tracker here are 2 sites.
Fitday.com and a dwnload at champion-nutrition.com
Both are excellent and many on here use them.
Good luck.
