It really depends on what you put in it.
I make chicken salad with a little mayo, some mustard, chicken, celery and some walnuts. It isn't too unhealthy, especially since I use more mustard than mayo, and I use a safflower mayonaise.

I have looked up fast-food nutrition facts, and the Carl's Jr. chicken salad looked quite good. If you make it yourself and dictate the chickens fat content, I imagine you can make it even better. Then I think it would be good for you. It would kinda have to be, right?

Mcdonalds grilled chicken caesar salad isnt horrible either as long as you dont use the dressing.
