is it bad to go to the gym everyday?

by the pics you can see im overweight, i started to eat healthy and work out pretty much everyday, mostly cardio a little weights, i do this for about an hour to an hour and a half everyday, some friends who mostly dont work out said that it is bad to go everyday, and i understand if i was lifting weights to give those muscles a day to rest, but my question is cardio bad to do every day? i started this less then 2 weeks ago and already see an improvement in how i feel, and i lost nearly 15 lbs.

They say that if you do weights 5 days a week, you should have one day with cardio when you're not doing weights, and one day of total rest. To me that means that my rest day with cardio is when I do extra cardio and some stretching and yoga-style exercises on top of the normal "cykle to and from work - walk the dog" routine. On complete rest I just do what I normally do - walk the dog, ride my bike to the store, that kind of thing. If you do too much your bpody will get back at you and you will either get ill, bored, or see no change. I still see results.
