My friend is doing a really killing abs workout. He does 500 crunches per day. I told him not to do that. Is that fine to him ? for his health ? n hows his abs will be ?

abs are muscles to and need time to rebuild between workouts. doing that many everyday will end up being counter productive.

Can anyone say burnout. My ft program has me doing 3 different exercises, 3 sets per, 25 reps for each, 2 times per week and it kills me.

I keep reading that your ab routines should be treated like the other muscles. They should be difficult and with some resistance at least once a week. And if you can do more than 12-15 reps per set, or more than 3-4 sets, then you are not doing them correctly.
