hows it going i live in florida, and i am going to pennsylvania for the next week or so and i was wondering if anyone new if it would be ok for me to efficiently run jog and sprint while im there outside?
Alright...welcome to my part of the country where we don't have it so easy like you sunshine boys.lol Seriously, when it is really cold, a slow jog is your best bet. Try to keep your nose and mouth covered by using a scarf or one of those cool looking ski masks. This ensures that you're breathing in warmer air. The bitter cold weather can do a number on your lungs. Keep your head covered as well, because over half of your body's heat is released through your head in cold weather. Good luck.
I used to live in PA. I ran outside all year round so I would naturally acclimate with the weather. The problem for you is you are coming from a warm to cold climate. jdelts is right. Try to keep your mouth and nose covered. You might even consider running on a treadmill as much as that sucks.
