Is it possible that you can get strong and not get bulky? Cuz I play basketball and doesn't want to become slow because of the bulk.

Yes it is possible to build long lean muscles which are strong, instead of short, thick muscles.

A little bulk won't hurt. If all basketball players were lean, there wouldn't be a Shaq! Anyway, contrary to what others say, adding some muscle tone shouldn't slow you down.

The size/bul/length of your muscles is realy more genetic than training influenced. If you have shorter muscles (shorter people) you will have thicker looking muscles just because they are shorter. Longer limbe people are going to have longer muscles.
Size is built from working hard and building strength - speed comes from powerfully strong legs and core muscles. Look at lmpic runners - very muscular legs - does that bulk slow them down?
Look through the posting on the various message boards - there are lots of posts about 'not bulking up'
